More than 55 affiliates and around 300.000 peole are expected to participate in Novo Nordisk arranged activities throughout the world.

The types of activities are many. Several hundred Global Diabetes Walks is expected to be carried out around the world. There will be a blue circle hula campaign in Canada, numerous walks in India, and in Denmark a number of Novo Nordisk employees will unite and run a marathon together ending up at the town hall Squre in Copenhagen..

Brandenbuger Tor in Berlin, Table Mountain in South Africa, the Little Marmaid in Denmark, the London Eye along with numerous other buildings and monuments will be lit in blue to mark 14 November. Diabetes fundraisers, educational lectures and diabetes awareness campaigns are also part of the different World Diabetes Day activities Novo Nordisk plan to carry out.
