Join the fight against diabetes

A person dies of a diabetes-related illness every 10 seconds and there are 19,000 new diagnoses of the disease every day. Today, diabetes is the fourth leading cause of death by disease globally and it is blind to race, colour, gender and age. It can affect any one of us or our loved ones at any time. The good news is that diabetes can be managed and the pandemic reversed, which is why the time to pay attention and act is now.

Spreading diabetes awareness throughout the world is part of Novo Nordisk natural responsibility. The World Diabetes Day film attached to the link below is part of this effort and is the result of more than 100 people, ranging from actors and other film professionals to ordinary members of the public, donating their time, equipment and commitment to put focus on diabetes in a global perspective.
